Author of the forthcoming book Squint: The Framework for Optimizing Strategic Focus for Eye-Opening Results, and fearless convener of the Female Founder Camp: RISEN, Crystal is a trusted advisor - or virtual strategy officer - and coach for founders in tech, media, consumer goods, and service industries.
From her waitlisted coaching cohort engagements to graduate classes in entrepreneurship and stratgic communications at top-tier universities, Crystal has equipped and encouraged new and seasoned business owners to "go big or go home" and unapologetically pursue their purpose so they can spend more time on their passions.
In 2020, Houston was named to the spring cohort of Poynter Institute for Journalism’s Leadership Academy for Women in Media. In 2019, following in her father’s footsteps, she ascended from solopreneur to entrepreneur with the launch of a digital media venture, Citeful. The startup was recognized as a 2020 SXSW Global Pitch Competition Finalist.
